釉色为酱色、褐红色、赭色、柿红色的瓷器的通称。酱釉瓷器是在青瓷基础上出现的，它的呈色是釉料中含有较多的氧化亚铁决定的。当釉料含氧化亚铁达到5%左右时，釉呈米黄色;氧化亚铁为8%左右，为赤褐色、暗褐色;如果烧成温度比烧黑瓷高30——50度，釉色就成为酱褐色、芝麻酱色，而且稳定精美。酱釉瓷和黑瓷工艺原理基本一样，只是要求有较高的温度。古代烧瓷由于窑炉结构和烧窑技术的限制，提高温度不容易，所以酱釉瓷出现比青瓷、白瓷、黑瓷略晚非常稀少难得一见值得收藏。Glaze is a general term for sauce, brown-red, ochre and persimmon-red porcelain. Sauce-glazed pottery is based on celadon, and its color is determined by the presence of more ferrous oxide in the glaze. When the content of ferrous oxide in glaze is about 5%, the glaze is beige; ferrous oxide is about 8%, which is reddish brown and dark brown; if the firing temperature is 30-50 degrees higher than that of black porcelain, the glaze will become sauce brown and sesame sauce color, and it is stable and exquisite. Sauce-glazed porcelain and black porcelain are basically the same in principle, but require a higher temperature. Because of the limitation of kiln structure and firing technology, it is not easy to raise the temperature of ancient firing ceramics, so the appearance of jam-glazed ceramics is a little later than celadon, white ceramics and black ceramics, which is rare and worth collecting.
